Sixteen would-be dance heroes battled for the title “Champion of Dance” in front of a panel of esteemed LVHRD judges at the first-ever Battle of the Moves on April 25th, 2006. This tournament-style competition ushered dancers and audience through an audible journey of musical eras and styles, climaxing in a one-on-one, room shaking dance duel. In the end, only one dancer had what it took to be called Champion of Dance.
Following the surprise finishes in last week’s Weapons of Dance Round, only two dancers are chosen to progress to DNCHRD’s final round, the Master-Disaster Dance Duel. Two will enter, one will leave. In this episode Chris Chris and Becca take the stage alone as they face a selection of history’s greatest dance songs, and history’s worst. Quality performances are crucial in this round if either dancer hopes to triumph in the upcoming genre-bending dance duel.
