Comics artist and past LVHRD Bi-Fold presenter, Paul Pope, has recently been nominated by Spike TV for two awards at their upcoming Scream 2006. Mr. Pope is in the running for both best Comic Book Writer and Best Comic Book Artist for his work on the DC Comics release BATMAN YEAR 100.

At the inaugural LVHRD Bi-Fold 1 on June 27th, 2006, Mr. Pope presented his creative process and recent work, from Fashion Week designs for Diesel to the creation of BATMAN YEAR 100, with electronic musician Mark DeNardo. Trend-spotting blog Cool Hunting released a video recap on the event, which can be seen here.

As a celebration of creative achievements in the realms of science fiction, fantasy and horror, Mr. Pope’s work is in good company.
