On Tuesday, October 24th, LVHRD invited New York fashion designers Erin Snow and Laurel Wells to compete in a live design competition: The Master-Disaster Fashion Duel III. Each designer and their assistant were given 1 hour, 1 model, and 500 feet of aluminum foil. Their task: to create an evening gown for a presidential innaugural ball. Attendees were asked to bring a roll of aluminum foil to gain entry to the venue, and were encouraged to accessorize while the designers competed.
In this episode, LVHRD follows the designers as they are shuttled to the surprise event space, Caravan's NoHo NYC location, to compete in couture war before a crowd of more than 300. Kelley Culp (Market / Fashion News Editor of JANE Magazine), Elizabeth Sulcer (Fashion Editor of Blackbook), Randi Molofsky (freelance fashion consultant and writer), and Mayte Allende (Market Editor for WWD) judged the designs and selected a winner.
