On Tuesday, December 5th, LVHRD and Dewar’s invited New York’s most prominent gangsters and their crews to celebrate Repeal Day, the official end of Prohibition. Guests were met by hired henchman on street corners throughout the city, put into limosines, and safely shuttled to the party’s undisclosed location at The Players Club on Gramercy Park. All guests were given pouches of chips, and rival gangs were encouraged to gamble, barter, beg, and steal to end the night with the most tokens. Arm wrestling tables were placed throughout the venue to help gang leaders settle old scores. Murray Hill hosted the evening, with performances by The Rosewood Thieves, Harvest Moon, and Peekaboo Pointe.
