Seth Herzog’s Annual New Year’s Bash

2006.Dec.27. Wednesday - by lvhrd

Taking place at Fontana’s in the Lower East Side (no longer at Tai - Tai closed its doors - forget about Tai) is Seth Herzog’s annual New Year’s Eve Party. Starting at 9:30 and going way into the 2 double 0 7, dress attire is optional, so you can wear anything from your Sunday best to your 90’s grunge era flannel shirt. Just not your birthday suit (unless, of course, it’s a dance routine involving a thin curtain, a back light, and a James Bond theme song…).

Ten dollars gets you into the party and also free champagne for the entire night, or at least until it runs out. And when the ball drops, expect to raise up your glass as there’s going to be a grand champagne toast at midnight led by the Zog himself.

On the wheel’s of steel is Craig Baldo (DJ Tommy Gun) who has spun for the past two years. And to add even more flavor to your ear is comedic persona and up-and-coming DJ superstar, Michael Showalter (DJ Mykool E-Ski).

And since James Brown just passed (Bless his funky soul) expect a lot of tunes from the former hardest working man in show business. Feel free to bring your cape.   Just remember to mention that you’re there for the Zog Party when you get to the door.
If you can’t wait until Sunday for a slice of Zog, you’ve got him this Thursday, the 28th, for his weekly comedy show “Sweet” at The Slipper Room.   If you still haven’t gone and promised yourself you would, this is your last chance before you explode.   …What?
