LVHRD VDO 019: ARCHDL 2.0 NTRVW

On Tuesday, March 21st 2006, LVHRD hosted the Master-Disaster Architect Duel II at the Canal Room in Tribeca, NYC. In this David vs. Goliath match-up, downtown partnership Grzywinski Pons Architects challenged global firm Arquitectonica to a model building competition before the LVHRD audience. More than 500 screaming architects and fans braved the cold and the crowds to see who would be victorious. The teams were tasked with a surprise brief to build a floating ampitheater in a post-global warming watery cityscape.

In this VDO NTRVW, LVHRD catches up to both teams of architects in their offices on the day of the event, gauging their anticipation before the duel. Shot and edited in a 10 hour period, this VDO was first screened for the ARCHDL II audience before the competition began. Stay tuned for next week’s VDO to see which team is victorious.
