We're aware that there are two stunning films to check out this weekend, but for those of you planning on curling up with a good book, Dwell Magazine has compiled a list of “must have” architecture and design books.

What makes the list so special, though, is the fact that several of design's biggest names take part, suggesting the titles that not only exhibit the world's finest work, but some of the pieces that helped shape their personal vision as well.

Picks are made by Pentagram's Michael Beirut, MoMA's curator of architecture and design Paola Antonelli, and Robert Forbes, the founder of Design Within Reach. The list goes on, so those of you itching for a mental meal would do well to prepare yourself to bathe in this fountain of inspiration.
