The Skinny on LEVI’s

For example, in the latest edition of the New York Times, Levi’s is reported to be going mad, suing their competition left and right and with good reason. Levi’s is suing other denim companies including VonDutch and Fossil- and you thought they only made watches- for imitating their pocket patchwork designs. They feel that the only way to maintain their brand identity is to keep their trademarked designs from becoming the standard design for every other brand of jeans.
Levi’s does not believe in the phrase - “Imitation is the biggest form of flattery,”- in fact, they sue the hell out of it. This is why we want to keep you informed. We don’t want to see anyone getting hurt, unless we are at DNCHRD and you decide to take a spill off the stage.
