Elizabeth Diller an architect and LVHRD member, representing Diller Scofidio + Renfro, will be participating in a discussion with David Byrne, former leader of the Talking Heads and star of Johnathan Demme’s box office hit “Stop Making Sense,” regarding new tendencies and relationships between architecture and music.

The event is organized by AIA New York Chapter and sponsored by The Center for Architecture and the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts. Check it out at the Center for Architecture, located at 536 LaGuardia Place. The event takes place on Friday, February 23rd at 7pm. Tickets are only $15, a small price to pay to be in the company of such esteemed thinkers.

You may remember Elizabeth from ARCH DUEL I, in which Matthew Johnson of her firm competed, and from notable appearences in the New York Times where she was hailed as a visionary. Elizabeth was also the recipient of a MacArthur Foundation “genius” grant.
