LVHRD member and actress Virginia Shou will be preforming in the latest series of the Vagina Monologues, an award winning play in which women share their views about their vaginas with the audience. It is a show that has been featured internationally, everywhere from India to Mexico and in this specific installment, there is a twist.

Instead of the regular cast, there will be 25 deaf actresses on stage, joined with voice interpreters. This show will be a part of the V-Day campaign, a global movement to stop violence against women and girls through performances of The Vagina Monologues. This show will raise awareness and funds for anti-violence groups and benefit women around the globe.

Everyone has had an experience with a vagina in one way or another and we know you are curious about how this particular show will unfold. This rendition of the Vagina Monologues will take place on March 3rd at 7pm at the New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).
