The purePROJECT, a new, exclusive gallery and project space at 205 Mulberry Street in SoHo presents trigr: A NYC Street Art Show featuring artists Celso, Dark Cloud, Elbow-Toe, Gore-B, Haculla, Infinity, Pufferella, Leon Reid, Royce Bannon, Skewville along with special guests. This landmark exhibition will be on view through March 25.
Trigr is an exhibition that allows NYC street artists to present their non-traditional painting styles and install site-specific pieces in a unique gallery setting. Unlike a traditional group show installation, the pieces touch and overlap. The end result will trigger your senses with a stimulating and cohesive blend of artistic styles and mediawhich will mimic the layering that takes place on a city street. The core group of talented and innovative artists will present a number of works on wood, canvas, paper and found objects that will be displayed over the gallery's covered walls. Unsold works will be returned to the artists and put out on the street to begin their inevitable decay.
The purePROJECT is an art space and creative community. The purePROJECT is a collective of creative enthusiasts whose goal is to influence social, environmental and economic sustainability through the vitality of its numerous projects and programs. These include concept/product development, design services, entrepreneurial philanthropic initiatives, artistic curation, educational programming, holistic services, and private gallery space rental.
