On Tuesday, August 29th, 2006 LVHRD hosted DNCHRD II at a loft space in the Flatiron District, NYC. 500 LVHRD members packed into the venue, with libations provided by Dewar’s, for an unforgettable evening of dance, drama, and dreams. DNCHRD II featured 9 dancers, handpicked from two previous audition, to compete for the title of Champion of Dance. The competition was overseen by comic sensation Seth Herzog, and judged by Kristin Sloan of the NYC Ballet, Gia Kourlas of Time Out NY, Tracy Inman of Alvin Ailey, and DNCHRD I Champion Chris Chris. Dancers competed in a series of rounds designed to test their aerobic and rhythmic limits.
In this final DNCHRD II VDO installment (part 3 of 3), the final contenders battle it out in a thunderdome-style dance duel. Only one of them will move forward to try their legs against the reigning DNCHRD Champion, Chris Chris. Watch and see.
