This Friday, May 4th, New York fashion photographer and LVHRD member Ken Thurlbeck’s new show combining photography, choreography and costume design opens at the Jonathan Shorr Gallery.

Friday’s reception at the Jonathan Shorr Gallery will exhibit for the first time Thurlbeck's photographs printed on silk from the Laura Peterson Dance Company, inspired by her performance, “I Love Dan Flavin.” Charles Youssef, a designer for Ralph Lauren as well as Laura Peterson, designed the costumes for the show–track suits inspired by Dan Flavin’s flourescent sculpture.

The evening will also include a solo performance from Laura Peterson.

A percentage of all proceeds from the sale of the photographs will go to support the Laura Peterson Dance Company, a non-profit organization.
