vLES is a new application in the alpha stages that allows you to create an avatar and live forever in NYC's Lower East Side. It looks something like a cross between the game XIII and GTA.

You can go to shows at Bowery Ballroom (or play shows if you’re in a band), drink at Max Fish, and shop at American Apparel (we didn't figure out how to earn money yet.) Your favorite LES haunts are all there, reproduced with fairly good attention to detail. Katz's seems to be facing the wrong way, though, and there isn't any traffic. You can stand smack in the middle of Houston and not die.

But our favorite part of vLES: it's always night.
