Once the premiere neighborhood for art and artists, SoHo’s shining stars were displaced by Kate Spade, Dean & Deluca, and buffet tables selling baby tee shirts with communist iconography.

But TOMORROW, for one enchanted afternoon, the art comes home to roost and turns SoHo into the Art Parade.

West Broadway is born again with a little Bourbon Street, a little Montmartre, and a little Haight-Ashbury. Naked people paint each other in front of Cipriani Downtown, bands rock out in front of REISS, and thousands of people line the street to remember the way things once where way back when . . . in 1998.
