Here is an update on the happenings at Smack Mellon gallery in September.

September 29th: Elana Herzog and Peter Dudek’s installation opens. Peter Dudek builds dream furniture out of found and fabricated objects; Elana Herzog is meticulously fastening a giant plaid quilt to the walls of the gallery using thousands of staples.

September 29th and 30th: During Dumbofest weekend Smack Mellon will be open and free to all who wish to explore its caverns. Saturday, September 29th, 1-8pm and Sunday, September 30th.

If you came to PHTHRD you know that Smack Mellon is an amazing exhibition space. If you’ve never seen it, go walk around DUMBO September 29th or 30th and drop in on Smack Mellon to appreciate the iconic view over the water between two bridges.
