Then we’d go to the Halloween Parade at Rose Lane Elementary School…

In October 2007 at Midtown Loft, an intrepid mob of sartorial somnambulists gathered for the Dewar’s Master-Disaster FSHN DL IV: UNDEAD BALL, curated by Refinery 29.com. We tried to get Woodman, fresh from competing in DNCHRD III, to zombify the beats at FSHN DL IV: UNDD BLL, but since he’s super busy at the moment, Woodman offered up this alternative: A Golem replacement.
Nearly identical to Woodman in function (slightly less in form) this animated clay beast will replace Woodman on the decks at FSHN DL IV.…

We showed up at East Village Radio last week to deliver the spoils of victory to DNCHRD III champion, DJ Elhaam: a tower of VNYL 150 records deep.
Sitting in on her Monday night turntable broadcast, Guilty Pleasure, Elhaam told us, “Don’t call me a DJ. I’m more of an interactive jukebox.”
With the pallet of VNYL we delivered to Elhaam’s apartment…

It seems appropriate listening to Beggars Banquet while writing about Workshop, the design studio founded by Jessi Arrington, who at Workshop’s Third Star Anniversary party last night showed us her wedding cowboy boots.
“These are actually the boots I got married in!” said Jessi sitting atop a bank of Milton Glaser’s flat files. Mick and Keith would be proud.
Jessi started…
