Bust Craftacular 2006

Two-hundred vendors, DJs, food and cocktails while you shop.

I went last year and it was a good time. Tons of people and lots of great gift ideas. I got all of my christmas shopping done in a day. But I’m a boy. And I appreciate that convenience.

I bought this strong ring made out of steel and cement, and lost it several months later eating BBQ at Pies & Thighs in Williamsburg. It slid off my sauce-slick pinky into a spew of napkins. Gone. Maybe a new one this year.

The best part, however, may be that you can buy drinks while you shop. Reminds me of when I was in Buenos Aires: on the weekend days all the boutiques would wheel their stock into the nightclubs and you could drink whiskey and dance while you shopped. Awesome.
