America unequivocally welcomes dudes and foods of all nationalities. Our culinary conjecture aligns with our foreign policy: we find something we like that someone else has got, fire a few ketchup rockets at it, and before you know, there’s an American flag - Iwo Jima style - right in the middle of your chutney.
We’ve embraced the taco, the burrito, the sushi, the pizza. We’ve put Hidden Valley Ranch on all of them. So what, then, is the next culinary hit to be embraced by America?
Good has an interesting guess at 10 exotic foods you might find at local deli in 2010. Our money is on bibimbap: Take one trip to Li Hua, grab yourself a hot stone, and stand with the converted.
