Unfortunately, it looks like this may be one of the last times you see WTWTA in this light: Warner execs have all but decreed that it be re-written and re-shot minus Spike Jonze and Dave Eggers.

thanks for sharin this! what a frikken travesty that its being retooled, minus the talent and magic…. kids like scary for f’s sake! the original Grimms fairy tales, that I’d say stuck pretty good, were damn violent and scary and ridunkulous and kids loved em, i can’t even get into this the agita is givin me goiter, but just plain sickening that they are going to saccarinize this classic… i take this personally cos A) sendak has same 6/10 bday as me and B) i am part wild thing

Oh my goodness. That was so scary I cried streams of Ice T from my eyes. Delicious tears of Lemony Bliss. My dad is a Pterodactyl.
