National Book Critics Reading Circle tonight

Finalists for the National Book Critics Circle awards read tonight at the New School’s Tishman Auditorium.
Readers include Junot Diaz, Joyce Carol Oates, Edwidge Danticat, Hisham Matar and Ben Ratcliff.
The reading is free to all, first come. Awards ceremony tomorrow night.
Should be a real barn-burner. Writers are crazy. I saw Joyce Carol Oates give a reading in Phoenix that put the fear of God in me. Never opened one of her books again.
Tishman Auditorium, 66 W. 12th St. at 6th Ave, 6pm.
