About movement - the thesis
Recently the mother of a dear friend, a woman of class, style and beauty, passed along the following words:
“You need to view this performance. It is amazing. It shows what a human can actually achieve. That there is this amazing human drive to accomplish a passion, this to me shows that practice of anything can be transformed into art, but the love of the practice is how this can come about. The actual performance is so fleeting, it is the work and the process that is the true joy.”
At the bottom, she simply wrote, “YouTube - Swan Lake. ”
What I found was unmistakably the work that ignited this thought, a video from the great acrobats and dancers of the “Great Chinese State Circus” performing one of the world’s most popular ballets, Swan Lake, somewhere in Germany. If the amphibian ballet on the hands doesn’t make your jaw drop…wait for it…waaiiitttt for it…

Absolutely unreal . . . so, so true. The joy is in the process! What a wonder of dedicated process this is!
