Much more badass than most people think
Eliasson’s waterfalls come down next monday (Oct 13th), and if you haven’t taken the time to go look at them, you are missing out. Furman st, south of Old Fulton is a sweet spot to see all four of them, and seeing all of them in the context of the city is the best way to go. They are sweet, regardless of what we may or may not have said in the past about them. Here is proof: “Hungry for fine art I’ll be the waiter at your table, I’ve done more installations than Time Warner Cable”

I wouldn’t discount the effort. Although in most cases the waterfall tended to be a natural disaster, killing trees, etc. It is nice to see projects of this scale come to life.
