Lumen Eclipse is bringing new meaning to the maxim, “quality over quantity” with its 1st Annual 1-Minute Film Festival this September.

The event, put on by that progressive Boston-based design studio we told you about in February, will be held under the stars in the heart of Harvard Square in Cambridge and will feature a jury of notables such as Director Justin Harder, Ceci Moss, the Editor of Rhizome at the New Museum, and Harvard Animation Professor Ruth Lingford.

September 2nd is the deadline for submissions, so those of you desiring these 60-seconds of fame better get going. If you succeed at weaving a great 60-second narrative or showing-off some impressive animation, you may also get to take home some prizes, like software from Adobe or Red Giant.
