I’m gonna keep this simple. There’s some killer coffee down on 81 Orchard street. It’s ridiculous - and it’s made by machines and computers and gizmos.
The place looks like a 1960’s version of what a futuristic coffee robot would look like and by the way - the coffee’s AMAZING.

Bartending meets molecular physics: at the behest of brands like Bacardi and Cointreau, bars are infusing cocktails with nitrogen to break down the solid ingredients into floating space dots. Picture your mojito comprised of various Dippin Dot ephemera.

Col-Pop: most revolting way to eat we’ve ever seen
The Col-Pop, a portable trough for simultaneous consumption of fried meat and soda, is the latest stepping stone in what is apparently our genetic pursuit to become the fattest, most worthless creatures on the planet.
Developed in South Korea for the chain BBQ Chicken and reviewed on Serious Eats by Adam Kuban, the Co-Pop comes in several different combinations of chunks and syrup water, the most prominent being popcorn chicken on top and soda underneath. Other permutations include soda and spaghetti, french fries, or fried mozzarella balls.
