We could eat a million! Maybe even a billion! God those little bastards are good! Pork or veggie, steamed or fried, little dipping sauce…wow man we just lost all composure. Ok. Here goes.

The 4th Annual Dumpling Eating Contest is going down Sunday, August 5th at the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival at Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens. First prize is a $1000, and while it doesn't come for free (you have to eat) it probably tastes pretty good.

The record, so eloquently stated on the poster is “Man: 49 dumplings; Woman: 33 dumplings.” The way we're looking at it is you get 2 minutes–that's not very long–but it's probably long enough to find a nice middle ground between making yourself physically ill and going away hungry.
