The Baller’s Spread

2008.Jul.21. Monday - by Jefferson Beach Marina

There are many ways to see a co-worker off their last day in the office; dinner, drinks, golfing, drinks, going to a bar for drinks. But might we recommend a more creative send-off? One that involves prison style cooking? Inspired by a recipe provided by one of favorite magazines, Frank 151, The Baller’s Spread is truly a bonding experience and, sort of, a meal if you can stomach it. We decided to modify the recipe slightly because none of us had done hard time and felt we needed to start simpler. The recipe is as follows:

15 packets of Ramen Noodles (all varieties)2 bags of Fritos

2 bags of Cheetos

1 Bag of Funyuns

6oz. of Miracle Whip

10oz. of tuna salad

1 fried fish fillet

1. Mix hot water and Ramen noodles in a large garbage bag and let stand at least 10 minutes or until all the water is absorbed.

2. Add all other ingredients and Ramen noodle flavor packets.

3. Mix together, seal bag, and let stand another 10 minutes

4. Say a prayer, bust open the bag, and break bread homies.

Frank recommends eating the mix on white bread or tortillas. We had burritos, check out the videos here. The original recipe also includes 2 cans of oysters, 2 cans of clams, and anything else you can steal from the cafeteria.Next time your planning a special lunch try The Baller’s Spread, we dare you.

I heard of a man who only ate brown food. He would have loved this.
