After several selection rounds, LVHRD has chosen this year’s couture competitors for the Master-Disaster Fashion Duel III. On Tuesday, October 24th, designers Erin Snow and Laurel Wells will compete for the Fashion Duel title.

Erin Isakov, aka Erin Snow, is a designer of both women’s sportswear and ready-to-wear lines. Born in Orange County, yet now based in New York, she’s creatively inspired by extreme sports and the outdoors. Her versatile designs are uniquely functional in a range of settings, which is clear through the breadth of her collections - simultaneously featuring pieces such as ski attire and casual dresses. Erin is a true sports and fashion enthusiast, making her an ideal competitor for the upcoming duel.

Her opponent, Laurel Wells, is a young and explosive force in the Brooklyn fashion scene. Laurel’s designs are a unique combination of past and present aesthetics. In this way, she mingles classic tunics and Victorian-inspired bodices with contemporary trends. The unique blend of styles make Laurel’s designs historically-inspired yet timeless pieces. Not to mention, Laurel was in the audience at last year’s event, which might provide her the added advantage needed to win.
Materials, tools and themes will be kept secret until one day prior to the event, when the designers will be notified of a portion of the night’s offerings. From there, it’s creativity, spontaneity and style that wins the race.

Multi-talented comic, writer, and actress Chelsea Peretti will play the role of Master of Ceremonies for the night's event. Chelsea co-produces the infamous monthly comedy act ”˜The Variety Shac' at Williamsburg's Galapagos Art Space. DJ Praveen Sharma of Percussion Lab, and former ARCH DL II DJ, will be spinning everything from Electro-Acoustic to Underground Hip Hop, providing the essential tracks to add a bit of competitive pressure to the night's Duel.
