The Ghetto Gourmet, an underground dining experience based out of the Bay Area, has captured our hearts and appetites. Throwing supper parties to bring together the most interesting people with sophisticated palettes, they have quickly gained steam.

What was originally strictly Californian, The Ghet has brought their events to NYC for the remainder of this week. Each party features a different local Chef preparing fresh local ingredients. Locations are withheld until the day preceding your meal with menus held on the down-low as well; the surprise of the Chef's inspiration is touted as half the fun.

Sound good? It is good. Dukedoms is certain because this week's dinners are completely sold out. Sorry, dear readers. You are encouraged, however, to hop over to their site, sign up for their list, and keep your fingers crossed for their swift return to Gotham City.

PS: Rumor has it that B.H.M. himself will be attendance this week. Perhaps he will share a photograph or two of his dining experience?
