Friday after work we walked over to The Apartment for Blogfest 2007. Moco Loco, Cool Hunting, NOTCOT, Curbed, Treehugger, Cribcandy, Apartment Therapy, and The Apartment. Explosive.

More designers and bloggers showed up to wait in line than could possibly get in. We talked to a couple of ladies from Bristol who said they'd been outside for more than an hour watching the warm, rummy conversations through the window.

The Apt looked great inside. Best wallpaper ever. Stefan and his team had a bank of Macs set up where you could explore The Apt's new blog, which is rather wiki; users from all over the world can add content that reads left to right and up and down. No more vertically scrolling newspaper feed.

Thank you to The Apt. for being such gracious hosts to a bunch of us making a living off of something we couldn't have told our first grade teacher we wanted to be when we grew up: Bloggers. It's kind of like being a newspaper man (woman) in the fifties, but with a lot less smoking and quieter typing.
