For the Photography Duel on July 24th, 5 teams of photographers and stylists will compete in a timed photography competition to produce images in 3 categories. The LVHRD membership will vote for the winning image.

Driven by Boredom. He likes photographing ladies in various stages of undress: lots of breasts, lots of open mouth tongue wagging. He used to photograph bands, but by his own admission he's a lot better at portraits, so he mostly does parties now. Maybe a few years ago we'd have said that the kind of candor women have in front of Igor's camera is startling, but today it isn't. He offers exposure, the chance for people to see you looking hot in an AA gold lamee bathing suit. He is of the breed of photographer who collects pictures of other people to increase his own worth, much the way one collects baseball cards, yearbooks.

Realy? Cause every other photographer and stylist you wrote up with kind and glowing words. I sort of feel like you just needed a party photographer to fill a quota and everyone else said no.

Not my intention to make you feel that way, Igor. I apologize if that’s the way it came across. We asked you to compete in PHTHRD because we feel your photography is technically and thematically on par with the other competitors and you represent the direction photography is headed, away from elaborate props and setups, towards those bare, biting moments of grief and happiness, and not from a dusty desert nation, like Iraq, but right here in NYC. You capture the nightly war.

It’s cool. I am over it. Sorry for being dramatic. I just am sensitive about people coming to my site just for the naked chicks. I love naked chicks, but I feel like my site has a lot more than that… maybe I am wrong delusional. Can’t wait for Tuesday.
