MAD, the Museum of Art & Design, has welcomed 48 international artists onto their shiny-clean museum walls for Pricked: Extreme Embroidery. Running now though April 27th, Pricked offers a refreshing look at how a new group has rejuvenated the aging pass-time associated with table clothes & Ukranian folk dresses.

Works range from the deeply personal to the overtly political, yet all share the strong commitment and quirky point of view requisite in a life of needle-working.
