NYC street photographer an NYU faculty, Joseph O. Holmes has signed on to compete at PHTHRD II on March 25th.

His photos seem to challenge the fortuitousness of the city: you focus on a doorway; you look at one instance of a woman holding a balloon; suddenly you see New York is more full of intentional design than circumstantial evidence.

As New Yorkers, we live a large part of our lives on the streets; in the streets we intersect and touch each other’s lives: Joseph is there to capture those moments.
