Armed only with their creative abilities, designers Corey Pak of Theory and Rebecca Turbow of Safe had limited materials and one hour to create an outfit on a live model in front of a packed crowd.
LVHRD member Rebecca Turbow has launched a Japanese Insanity Trap (JIT) to promote her new Spring/Summer 2008 line.
Use your speed-eyes to spot the eclectic mix of hem-me-ups and hem-me-downs the ladies will be wearing in buckets by the time the buds are falling off the trees…oh…that’s already happening - guess that means Rebecca Turbow makes sick clothes. Too bad they’re only for the ladies. Hurts my XY heart.

Clothing Designer Rebecca Turbow (FSHN DL II) has switched her wardrobe from turquoise to monochromatic gray. If this doesn’t shock you or sound amazing, it should. When we say she has “switched,” we mean that every article of clothing Rebecca wears is now gray, from ribbons to the soles of her shoes.
“Last September I switched to gray,” says Rebecca in NY Mag. “I’d had a bad year and I needed to get out of it (turquoise).”
Her clothing line still has plenty of turquoise; Rebecca feels that splitting her personal…

Brooklyn clothing designer Rebecca Turbow who competed in LVHRD’s FSHNDL II has some new tops for spring and summer available at her online store.
Rebecca just told us about this addition to her line, Safe Clothes, and already there aren’t many left. Her limited edition designs sell out fast.
Rebecca Turbow designs clothes in mostly two colors: turquoise and white. You could say those are her favorite colors, but that would put a damper on the word favorite.
If you go to her studio in Williamsburg, home of her clothing line Safe, you will see that the magnificent obsession with turquoise and white extends beyond her clothes. Those two colors are a lifestyle; they are Rebecca’s brand.
Everything–the sewing machine, the mannequins, her delivery truck, umbrellas, the thread on the spools–turquoise and white. It is her consistent, dogmatic approach…
We fashion aficionados here at LVHRD are always looking for the latest trends, the cheapest finds, and the best fits. What we try to avoid are things like lawsuits. We like to keep all our designer LVHRD members working within the fashion field well informed on what is going on in mainstream fashion.
For example, in the latest edition of the New York Times, Levi’s is reported to be going mad, suing their competition left and right and with good reason. Levi’s is suing other denim companies including VonDutch and…
Rebecca Turbow, competitor at LVHRD’s Fashion Duel 2, has served up some new threads at her store. They are limited edition pieces that are made for those who love comfort but will not compromise style. Her clothes feature big, bold collars accented by strong, clean lines. Colors are kept to its classy minimum of black, white and greys.
Tomorrow night, October 25th, LVHRD’s Gary Sloan will be one of the 75 esteemed photographers set to share their work at the ADC’s event. Surely, this will be the largest collection of premium images ever collected.
This special day affords attendees an intimate setting to not only view the work of established and emerging talent, but meet the minds behind the lens as well. A luncheon, happy hour, and refreshments are provided to encourage your attendance, but we’re sure that the opportunity to get a closer look at Gary’s book is all…

LVHRD’s The 2nd Annual Master-Disaster Fashion Duel was nothing short of sartorial glory. For all the sleek stylishness of the personalities that showed up at Rock Candy on Monday, November 21, the thematic apparel produced by dueling designers Rebecca Turbow and Corey Pak captivated and impressed the event’s attendees. It was, in short, a fashion spectacular.
Given a limited set of tools, a curious set of fabrics, a scantily clad model, and one hour’s time, fashion designers Rebecca Turbow of Safe Clothes and Corey Pak of American Eagle Outfitters were challenged to create high-speed couture…
