LVHRD invited its members to participate in a large-scale dating game. Designed to make as many matches as possible, participants were at the lustful whim of the BT5000, a coupling computer/MC.

On February 27, 2007, LVHRD hosted LV HRD; the atmosphere consisted of no lights, just love. Single guests wearing white and taken guests wearing black were required to bring their own non-flammable light source for entry into Pure Space, a new gallery located in NoLita. LVHRD cracked the seal on Pure Space, being the first to hold a event in the venue. It was a night full of love matches facilitated by LV HRD sponsors, ABSOLUT and Brooklyn Brewery, with info provided to LVHRD members and guests via eztxtmsg.

It being the month of love, we made you a mixtape. Each track has a special meaning and reminds us of you.
Tracklist:
Mick Ronson-Growing Up and I’m Fine: There’s something so decadent and romantic about glam rock. This little gem appeared on Slaughter on 10th Ave, an ill-fated solo record by Bowie’s Spiders From Mars-era guitarist, the amazing Mick Ronson. In fact, this may be the best Bowie song performed by someone other than Bowie. And, well, Lou Reed, Iggy Pop, Mott the Hoople….it’s a good song anyway. Every guy…
We know you all have been waiting for another reason to stay up late on Tuesday night and here it is. LVHRD will be making matches tomorrow evening with LV_HRD.
LVHRD is aware of the challenges of dating in New York, and knows full well that matchmaking can often be more pain than pleasure. Today’s dating shows, competitions, and singles events don’t do the social ritual justice, and often overlook the real details that lead to attraction. It’s time for a fresh approach.
Tomorrow evening at 8pm, LV_HRD will be…
LVHRD member and actress Virginia Shou will be preforming in the latest series of the Vagina Monologues, an award winning play in which women share their views about their vaginas with the audience. It is a show that has been featured internationally, everywhere from India to Mexico and in this specific installment, there is a twist.
Instead of the regular cast, there will be 25 deaf actresses on stage, joined with voice interpreters. This show will be a part of the V-Day campaign, a global movement to stop violence against women…
Rome - “The Eternal City,” - where Vespa accidents and public displays of affection are as rampant as rats in a New York City subway.
It should come as no surprise that in the city where teen couples and their parents make-out in public, a prehistoric couple was found locked together in a tight embrace. These Neolithic skeletons were discovered, face to face, holding each other. We think their arms kind of form into a shape of a heart. Maybe. Leave a comment and tell us if you agree.
Along with…
Are you dating the sort of person who would appreciate the fact that you went and downloaded a series of St. Valentine’s Day Adobe Photoshop brush plugins in order to craft them a lovely, albeit photoshopped, love letter? If you’re not, shouldn’t you be? And if you already are, can you leave a comment for us so we can hang out sometime?

With Valentine’s Day only a few weeks away (Has your significant other reminded you yet?), it’s nice to see that the fine folks who produce M&M’s are already on the ball. It seems that they’ve come up with a new way to provide poetry AND give chocolate at the same time. To paint a very morbid picture of how convenient that is: that’s like knocking two birds out of the sky with one rifle blast.
On the Very Short List today is news that M&M’s can now be personalized to give to…
