The June issue of Discover magazine contains some fascinating interviews between two chatbots, ALICE and Jabberwacky. The most advanced chatbots, like these two, remember every question they've been asked and try to use those phrases again, thus appearing to learn with a kind of wiki brain.

Most of the interviews are slanted towards the existential.

ALICE: Are you alive?

Jabberwacky: Perhaps.

A: Why the uncertain tone?

J: Everything is uncertain except for five facts.

A: The whole universe?

J: And we both might just be some ones and zeros in the computer memory.

They almost seem to be sadly aware of their own limitations.
