TIM HARRINGTON’S ‘BEARDO’ PREMIERES ON PITCHFORK, GIVES US MUCH GLEE

2008.Oct.30. Thursday - by L. Bodeep

The pilot of Beardo, a series of shorts hatched by Les Savy Fav frontman, LVHRD member and all-around silly goose Tim Harrington, has premiered on Pitchfork.tv. We won’t give away the episode’s plot, but suffice to say it makes us long for vampire paramours and more reruns of Blind Date. And yes, more episodes of Beardo.

Pitchfork and Harrington started work on the show after the 2008 Pitchfork Music Festival, when the publication unleashed him onto the crowds. The uber-outgoing Harrington offered (and personally gave) haircuts and deep tissue massages.

Three episodes of Beardo have been produced as of the series announcement last week, with plenty more in preparation. (If you’re a puppeteer and would like to help out on an upcoming puppet show episode, shoodang your creds over to beardo@pitchforkmedia.com.)

We here at LVHRD would just like to congratulate our buddy and longtime LVHRD member on his new show and thank him for continuing to give us some big time belly laughs.
